Having your piano regularly tuned is vital to the instruments’ health and longevity. If the piano is played a lot or is frequently used for performances, having it tuned more often is recommended.
Pianos should be tuned at least every six months to maintain their condition.

REGULAR TUNING
A typical tuning takes approximately 1-1.5hours. Contact me to discuss rates.
PITCH RAISE
Completed over two visits. If a piano is severely out of tune, it can require two sessions in order to hold its tuning.
REGULATION
Regulation is the process of adjusting the mechanical parts of the pianos keyboard and action to mitigate the wearing of felts and cloths over time. This is a thorough process which evens out the keyboard and makes for a smoother playing experience.
REPAIRS
Pianos, often need repairs and adjustments. I will address any issues I see, or make any adjustments necessary to fit your preferences, and improve your playing experience.
VOICING
Voicing is the treatment of the piano hammer felts in order to modify or smooth out the quality of your piano’s sound.

Music is my number one passion and that is reflected in my tunings.
I have a Masters Degree in Music from the Manhattan School of Music where I studied voice. Since I graduated I have been performing across the U.S. and Canada, most recently in Into the Woods on Broadway and the Yiddish production of Fiddler on the Roof at Stage 42 in Manhattan.
Some of my other musical endeavors have included private lessons in voice, piano, and guitar. And of course, tuning and servicing pianos.
